my name is never was.
I'm not enamored of EVERYTHING about the 90's...just most things. I recently saw this film, and while it made me sad, it also reminded me that:
1. Nirvana made great music,
2. The Seattle grunge scene was simultaneously terrifying and awe-inspiring, and
3. Disregarding all alleged criminal activity and heroin addictions, Courtney Love had great style and a great band.
Don't be surprised if I come to school tomorrow wearing my giant vintage flannel shirt and a teeny, randomly placed hairbow.
P.S. I just ordered the much-blogged-about book Girl Power by Marisa Meltzer to further my education on this subject...I'm not exactly a riot grrl.
